Wha? Flickr’s got maps now?

OMG! I must be living in the dark ages or something, as I didn’t realize that you can tag location on a photo, and Flickr will then map the location for you.
I’m going to ‘need’ a GPS enabled camera, as this looks fun. I wonder if the Garmin Forerunner 305 can store points to be [...]

We don’t need no stinking right-click!

Aliya loves to use the computer. I’ve let her use an old Fujitsu laptop as well as my MacBook Pro/iBook. Using the same programs, Aliya have problems on the Fujitsu. She likes to right click, a lot, even if I told her otherwise. On the Apple notebooks, she does not have any problems whatsoever, as [...]

Goodbye DigitalBill

One of the more interesting podcaster around has passed away. It’s so sudden, that I don’t really know what to say other than to dedicate this post to him.

purchase online viagra

I was looking at the comic section of my RSS reader, and Joy of Tech posted a tribute to DigitalBill. I was like, “Wha? [...]

Nike+iPod first jog

This is a very interesting graph created by the Nike+iPod kit:

The graph looks progressive due to the BPM based playlist I made for my walk/jogs. I’ll post about BPM based playlist soon.

iTunes 7 and iPod 5G

Having a black iPod 5G, I decided to play with the new iTunes Store to buy some games and also a movie for the sake of Science! Two games I bought are Bejeweled and Zuma. Here’s some mini reviews/impressions of what I got.

Bejeweled: Beautiful game. A cross between the old Bejeweled game, updated with Bejeweled [...]

I like it here

In World of Warcraft, this is the place I like most:

It’s a jungle, a lush tropical rainforest area, the designers have got to add that statue. Of course no one really goes there, as it’s where the giant called Mok’rash decided to make it his home. You might try out your skill and kill the [...]

vi search: using commands of vi to search

Ok, I’m all about the “not using the mouse to navigate if necessary” kind of thing. But sometimes, people take things a bit too far.
While having lunch here in Pasadena, three of us were talking about how the Snap.com search engine, for which we work, is oriented toward people who enjoy images and graphical search [...]
